The Church celebrates the canonization of two extraordinary young men: Carlo Acutis and Pier Giorgio Frassati.

They lived in different times, wore different shoes—Carlo in Nikes, Pier Giorgio in hiking boots—but both walked the same path of holiness. And they did it in ways that speak powerfully to our generation.

Carlo Acutis loved computer coding and video games. Pier Giorgio Frassati was known for mountain climbing and his tireless service to the poor. The media often highlights Carlo’s tech-savvy youth and Pier Giorgio’s adventurous spirit—but their sanctity runs far deeper.

In the documentary “The Boy From Milan,” Carlo’s teacher, doctor, family, and friends reveal the quiet, daily choices that made him a saint. He was a teenager navigating school and friendships, transforming ordinary moments into acts of grace.

  5. Enter your email and name, click the box to agree to the Terms of Use, and click "Sign Up."
  6. Select your parish by entering the parish zip code, then click "Sign Up."
  7. You should then be taken to the main Formed site, and should be automatically signed in and be able to access all the content.
